On the days we have concerts in the evening, Splendor can be reached by phone from 5pm at: 020 – 845 33 45. At any other time, we can be reached via email or through filling out the contact form on this webpage.
Our address: Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat 116, 1011 LX, Amsterdam (behind Waterloo Square).
The Splendor Foundation is liable for all things concerning Splendor.
Daily management is in the hands of business manager Norman van Dartel, assisted by floor managers Manon Schreurs and Lisa Feij.
Splendor’s front door opens 45 minutes before commencement of a concert. This is also the time at which our ticket office opens.
Online ticket sales only take place through the Stager ticket system.
Unfortunately, reserving tickets by phone is not possible. Purchasing your tickets at the door however, is. Our ticket office opens 45 minutes before the concert commences. We accept cash and debit cards, but we cannot accept credit cards.
Access for the Disabled
Splendor is also accessible to the physically impaired, having both an elevator and a lavatory for the disabled. Please inform us of your needs at the front door, and our employees will show you to our side entrance and let you in through there.
The Splendor program is created by the fifty musicians. Zin the collective. Often, they will perform themselves, or invite other musicians to play, but they also get approached by musicians looking for a location for a concert. In all of these instances, the Splendor musician hosting the performance is also the producer, which makes them responsible for every aspect of the concert, ranging from practical issues in the building itself to commucation and PR surrounding that specific concert.
Splendor does not have a programming budget: the compensation for the artist consists of a percentage of the revenues from our ticket sales. Of course there is also a possibility to rent our halls.
Building and technical aspects
Splendor’s two halls are located on the ground level, accessible by entering the front door and ascending a short stairway. All floors of the building are wheelchair accessible through a separate entrance where heavy decor and instruments can also be transported (maximum of 500Kg). A map of the ground level is available as a PDF through this link. A list of lighting, sound and video equipment including backline can be downloaded here.
