Visual art and music

Piano – Uzi Heymann
New Rituals by Sebastian Holzhuber

Music by Mozart, Brahms, Schubert, Chopin, Beethoven, Satie, Schumann

The visual artist Sebastian Holzhuber and the classical pianist Uzi Heymann met in 2015. They were inspired to visually portrait the unseen world of the panic disorder – OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) Uzi suffers from. Ever since, their mutual inspiration has led to a close collaboration in various visual art projects.

The Concert for Annoying and Supporting Angels is their first project combining visual art with music. This transformative performance offers a visual dimension of a classical music concert. While listening to the music, the audience has a glimpse into the inner world of the pianist represented by different characters interacting with the performer.
Annoying and Supporting Angels deconstructs the conventional ritual of a classical music concert, enriched by new layers of expression.
