Mon, 21 March 2016 | 10:00 hour
Seconda Prat!ca Ensemble brings the European Day of Early Music to Amsterdam! Creating a full day of concerts, workshops, talks and exhibitions, we invite you to engage and explore the many facets of Early Music. For this year’s edition we pay special attention to the relationship between music and stories in innovative concert experiences!
Seconda Prat!ca Ensemble brings to you a celebration of history and performance for the Amsterdam Early Music Day – part of the REMA celebrations for the European Day of Early Music.
Concerts, workshops, talks and exhibitions will fill a whole day in the exciting venue of Splendor. The theme of this year’s edition – H.I.Story Telling (Historically Informed Story Telling) – will bring together some of Amsterdam’s newest talents, to create new experiences, bringing new possibilities for Early Music. Hosted by the fabulous Claron Mc Fadden with representatives from the most influential cultural institutions of our day, this is a date you do not want to miss!
Producing this event requires financial means with which to rent the concert space, invite and pay for all the musicians involved, organize training for young musicians and coordinate the efforts of dozens of volunteers.
We hope you will join our efforts with your contribution, whatever it may be!
But you won’t come out of this empty handed! We have a series of rewards ready for you: from exclusive invitations to special events to recordings and one of a kind collectibles we have prepared many opportunities for you to enjoy this event from afar or right next door!
