Emmanuel Rossfelder is one of the world’s best guitarists at the moment. The Frenchman is a beloved soloist with top orchestras all over the world, has won many international prizes, and comes, together with the Argentinian master bandoneonist Victor Villena, to the Netherlands for the first time.

‘Passions du Sud’ is an exquisite programme, with compositions by Piazzolla, Boccherini, Grieg, De Falla, Villa Lobos, and others. All musical gems, a mix of tango and classical music that seems perfectly suited for the combination of bandoneon and classical guitar. Villena performed last year in several Dutch concert halls with pianist Fernando Otero. Van Rossfelder’s beautiful album Carnets de Voyage’ was released recently.
