Oene van Geel & Setareh Nafisi
Oene van Geel and Setareh Nafisi are both musical adventurers. When they met on stage a few years ago, they were immediately interested in each other's musical world. They both have their main instrument: Setareh the piano and Oene the viola. They improvise and play composed notes with the same flow. But it doesn't stop there for both: they sing, play percussion and electronics and they see movement as an integral part of their performance. Both are also very interested in other art forms and they often collaborate with dance: Oene with Kalpanarts and Setareh with the National Ballet. And: they both like to paint and often do this together. Especially for this Splendor concert they also bring their own paintwork. The audience chooses some of the works and that will be the score of the performance. Be welcome!
