The improvisation collective Doek will present a series of day-long improvisation workshops on several Saturdays throughout the next 9 months.

This evening’s concert, led by trombone player Wolter Wierbos, is a presentation of the fourth workshop, and the end result of a day of getting acquainted and improvisation. You can expect the unexpected, with varying instrumental combinations. The daytime workshop will also be hosted by trombonist Wolter Wierbos.

Wolter, on this workshop: 'I want to work on a composition I made for the Doek Festival in June 2020. The piece is called: COVID-19, and is in a Pyramid shape, with 1,5 metre distancing. Players CAN move around! The first half of the workshop day, I will work on Improvising Tactics.'
