KlAnkzIcht / KlOEnkgEzUcht is a performance of Collective ABC, consisting of two vocalists (Cora Schmeiser/ Annelie Koning) and one visual artist (Milou van Ham). With the use of sound and image we visualise the origin and possibilities of words. The music is based on colored glass plates that form the graphic score. The glass plates have the shape of vowels. They are placed and edited with consonants different in every composition. They are creating the breath, the vowels, and the consonants. In the pieces, the members of Collective ABC meet each other's discipline and take the audience visually and aurally into the celebration of language and the many possibilities of communication.
