Francien Schatborn is proud to present her niece Fenne, entering the 4th year of her Jazz Vocals Bachelor programme at the Utrecht Conservatory! FENNE’s music is like an autumn day: anything can happen, from a rainstorm to a sudden ray of sunshine peeking through the falling leaves. The band’s sound is a combination of pop and jazz, with lots of improvisation and unexpected harmonies played over a distinct groove with familiar melodies. Like diary entries, her lyrics encompass dreams and expectations, disappointments and desires. With her debut album “Hope”, she sets out to make her dreams come true.
