New Portugese music for saxophone and vibraphone
Saxophone and vibraphone: an unusual combination, but the KinetixDUO passionately explores the infinite possibilities of these two instruments. Saxophonist Fernando Ramos and percussionist Jeffery Davis are both from Portugal, and focus mainly on the expansion of the Portuguese classical and contemporary repertoire for saxophone and vibraphone. In the KinetixDUO, they join forces in finding, interpreting and creating music in which various styles and languages interweave. The duo is always moving, always searching for new directions and explorations of their instruments. They are currently working on their first album, consisting of original works by Carlos Azevedo, Luís Tinoco, Jeffery Davis, Paulo Bastos and Telmo Marques.
