Summer Academy

Summer Academy

A creative and inspiring week of master classes, multimedia workshops and lectures. Are you a young musician at the beginning of your career hungry to gain the inside track on musical life as a professional? Then this is the week for you!

For the third time, Splendor is organizing its very own Summer Academy. The course runs from August 13-19, 2018 in its own beautifully renovated facility in the heart of Amsterdam. While music-making plays a central role in the course, other aspects of a successful musical career will be covered in detail from media strategies and PR to sponsoring, networking and branding.

“If anyone is looking for inspiration, for some clash in their own janicemusic they definitely should come here. It’s a very good place to be in” – Janice Ho, Hong Kong

The week includes coaching by top professionals in the creative industry. Our faculty will accompany you in creating a concert program complete with PR photo, text and a model for approaching sponsors and raising funds. The week finishes on a high point with a concert as part of the internationally renown Canal Festival in Amsterdam. Click here to see last year’s pictures.
