Wat blijft is de muziek...

What remains is the music...

A tragic story full of hope with music long hidden. Pianist Imri Talgam plays never-before-heard work by Menachem Asscher, a pianist and composer who was sent to Germany at the age of 22 and never returned. Using excerpts from works such as 'Dancer without Legs' by Menachem's mother Clara Asscher-Pinkhof, Lilian Kars tells Menachem's story, which is further brought to life with music by Beethoven, Bach and Moore among others. A 'narrative concert' that will leave no one unmoved.
