Vinkepeezer’s third album is a meditation in sound, inspired by the merging of spirituality and conspiracy theories. Guided meditations, esoteric voices and a plethora of samples from the most paranoid corners of the internet are combined with esoteric sounds and electronic pop music. Plunging his listeners in apparent chaos, Vinkepeezer (Ivo Bol) leads you through a wild and varied soundscape with many unexpected turns.

Vinkepeezer reworks found sounds, old and new electronics, and excess sounds from vinyl records and tapes into new musical constellations. For “Everything Is a Frequency”, Vinkepeezer collected a variety of samples, listening to the world around him as if using a stethoscope. One moment you are listening to an online meditation course and the next you are tuning into a podcast that spirals out of control.

T’IJU T’IJU (Jochem van Tol)
Having hung his hat in the past on collaborative projects such as The Paper Ensemble, SOON and Silverbones, Jochem van Tol’s new project T’iju T’iju answers a long-held hypothesis: what would happen if he were to experiment with sound and music on his own? The answer lies partly in its moniker, named after the Bolivian word for grasshopper, an animal the Amsterdam-based composer and artist feels a peculiar spiritual connection to. Jochem wil play a set from his latest album “The dragon is still alive (MOLK Records and esc.rec).
