Mezzosoprano and theatre maker Isabel Pronk (finalist Dutch Classical Talent 2024/2025) takes the audience on a journey through the night in which a main character has to deal with loneliness and darkness. Who are you when nobody is watching? What is important when nobody is watching? And who is with you, eventhough you think nobody is watching?
With new text by Amanda Payne and accompanied by a pianotrio which has their own place in the storyline. Music by a.o. Astor Piazzolla, Kurt Weill and Michel van der Aa. Young composer Sarah Neutkens wrote a brand new song cycle especially for Isabel and her ensemble which will become the darkest hour of the night. A theatrical concert about loneliness, power, vulnerability, togetherness and returning to (your own) light.
