‘Letters to home’ or ‘Kirjad Koju’ is a program based on the stories of people in wartime. Memories of refugees, letters to home of young men in the trenches and people taken into captivity are powerful and emotional documents which are worth remembering, especially in the current times. The music of composers like Mahler, Eisler, Butterworth, Somervell, Gurney, Warlock and Poulenc describes and links the stories together. Kirjad Koju is a collaboration of the Estonian pianist Johan Randvere, Estonian actor Risto Vaidla and Dutch baritone Tim Kuypers.
