Diamanda La Berge Dramm & Anne La Berge

The evening begins with a preview of Diamanda Dramm's new show Chimp Live which she will premiere this year at November Music. With simple tools - two violins, a small table, a studio lamp, a few pedals - she aims to create the same intensity and intimacy on stage. The audience is witness of the slow evolution of Chimp’s sound world: the acoustic violin as first source, the voice as transportation, the electric violin facilitating it all. Not more than that - completely minimal.

For the second half of the concert, Diamanda is joined by her mother Anne La Berge. The duo draws 34 years of collected stories and more. Now with sharp pop quizzes, fiery virtuosity and state of the art electronics.
