The program features two works of Poulenc: Un soir de neige & Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël. These stunning works for a cappella choir will inspire the free jazz improvisations of saxophonist and pianist who will join the choir in breathing new life into these Christmas classics. The choir will also present three christmas works by Greek contemporary composers whose music is inspired by Byzantine traditions. The Hague Vocal Ensemble is a chamber choir consisting of singing students, graduate singers and experienced singers, led by Angeliki Ploka.
