Andrea Voets is one of the new Splendor members. Over the last ten years, she has developed the worldwide unique methodology of musical journalism: the complete merger of music and journalism, to the highest standards of each profession.
Last year, her company Resonate Productions made its New York debut with 5 shows of FOR REAL at BAM’s Next Wave festival.
This year, Bregje Hofstede of De Correspondent published this essay on the method.

Andrea will play scenes from FOR REAL (2024) and Nothing Bigger Than Humanity (2025), show videos, playback recordings and trailers and accommodate to any questions from the audience on any of the elements of the practice that are of interest to the people present: e.g. composition, interview techniques, research skills, ethics and funding.

Splendor can only be the independent and free hub that it is, thanks to the members who support us. We pay them back with our specialty: music. Every year, all Splendor musicians play one concert that's free for this crucial group to whom Splendor owes its everyday existence. The members enable Splendor to remain independent, which is the only way to secure real freedom in programming, experimentation, risk-taking and the promotion of young, upcoming artists.
