Team Orkesterra

Team Orkesterra is a brand new international orchestra founded by Amsterdam-based composer, pianist and sound artist Jarno van Es. No borders, no holds barred. With a mixture of musicians from all over the world with backgrounds in jazz, classical, pop, world and improvised music, the band creates a highly inflammable tower of sound.
The name comes from the idea that the group is a collective and operates as a team. Led by Jarno van Es, they bring different musical worlds together and at the same time are looking for ways to approach orchestral music from a different angle. This performance will be an experiment. A random occasion. An immersive experience. But most of all: a lot of people having fun together. It will be like a little kid, trying to walk for the first time. Endearing, cute, funny, hilarious at moments and awkward at others, breathtaking and dangerous.
