An evening with Mathwa
In search of a new Mediterranean songbookThe sextet “Mathwa” will give their first live concert after their residency in Amsterdam. “Mathwa” are a band formed by musicians coming from Syria, Greece, France and Italy, with the shared goal of creating an original song repertoire where the respective musical idioms and spoken languages can converse and intermingle in a new blend, without loosing the specificities of each member’s sound. “Mathwa” are working on their first album and will share with the audience some of the songs and compositions that are going to be featured in their upcoming record.
