This live music dance jam is something you don't want to miss. Urban freestyle dancers collaborate on stage with amazing musicians for a playful groovy & funky impro jam.

After the show you might wanna shake your body down while our dj's present a soulful set to help you to connect with each other.

Felix Schlarmann
Jazz drummer, active in big bands as well as in experimental impro-settings. Next to a busy schedule as a player he is a part of the faculty at the jazzdepartement of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Also Felix is active in organising events like the Jazzfest Amsterdam.

Whiff (Dries van Elten)
Rippingly funky. Danceable. Recalcitrant. This is what you would normally expect at shows by DIY freak Whiff (Dries van Elten). He recorded his last album single-handedly in an abandoned monastery and is currently working on a new record with a heavy influence from the 70s. During this Funkin’4 Splendor evening, Van Elten will place even more emphasis on the improvisational part of his musical existence.

Our dancers represent diverse origins. Zedd, Diego and Zsolt are seasoned all style dancers from different countries (NL, BR & HU)

Chill On Tuesday
A dynamic DJ collective featuring Zev, Djuliann, and Jozua-D, known for their soulful, eclectic house dance tunes. Together, they create unforgettable musical experiences in clubs and events across the reigion.

The annual Summer Dance Forever will take place in Amsterdam from August 20. The Funkin’4 Splendor jam session is independent from SDF, but we are very welcome dancers who want to warm-up for the festival.

The jam is organised by Zsolt Szederkényi, urban dancer & photographer from Budapest, based in the Netherlands.
