Since 2012 Monotak has been a mainstay in the experimental performance landscape. Originally founded as a performer/composer collective, Monotak has branched into several mediums including film, installation, group experience, podcast - while always maintaining sound as the central conduit. 13 years later, Monotak brings this experience and perspective to a renewed action, striving for an answer to what music is needed today. For ourselves as composers, performers and artists- but also for the audience, and society at large. Ambitious? Perhaps. Intriguing? Certainly. An adventure to see and hear? Absolutely!
