The Amsterdam Viola Festival at Splendor!
An evening for viola fans!
At 19:30 a talkshow organised by the Dutch Viola Society with 4 jury members from the National Viola Competition, held this week at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
Then at 20:30 the final concert of the Viola festival, with prize winners of the competition performing their Telemann Fantasy, Bloch Rapsodie and Leo Smit clarinet trio. Garth Knox will also perform his new work for viola solo "Quartet for one" specially for us! With, in addition, ensembles of viola students performing Hindemith and the Gordon Jacob Suite for 8 violas.
After the concert at 21:30 Free Impro Jam by all viola players!
