Totaaltheater op 5 vierkante meter met Gerard Bouwhuis en Olga Zuiderhoek, de officiële try-out voor een tournee door Nederland.

Maar wat er ook gebeurt er klinkt muziek is het refrein van ‘Wintertenen, luizen en eczeem, de typhus en de kanker en de griep’ van Ischa Meijer, Olga’s lievelingslied. Het werd de titel van dit programma van Olga Zuiderhoek over muziek uit haar 20e eeuw en ze wilde Gerard Bouwhuis voor de muziek, waar het om draait: Bartok, Antheil, Andriessen, Breuker, Gershwin, Johnny & Jones en natuurlijk Stravinsky. Ze laten de doden meespelen: Gerard speelt met Breuker, Olga zingt met Ischa.

Totaaltheater op 5 vierkante meter: tekst, muziek en beeld, vaak grappig, soms woestmakend droevig, maar hoe dan ook: er klinkt muziek! Gerard speelt en Olga vertelt waarom. ‘De 20e eeuw telt 2 wereldoorlogen, ik heb ze beide misgelopen, hoeveel mazzel kan je hebben.’
