Splendor viert op zondag!

Sunday Celebration with workshops for children, concerts, a festive jam and much more. Come in!

Splendor is open all day, come in and meet Splendor.
There are children's workshops in the morning, and in the afternoon concerts, a Cabinet of Curiosities and a closing jam in the evening!

At 11:00 hrs Iris Oltheten and Claron McFadden will provide a children's program, for children aged resp. 0-6 and 6-12 years.

Between 12:00 and 17:00 hrs there is a concert every hour and during the entire afternoon the Splendor Rariteitenkabinet:

12 hrs PEAX unplugged, with Barry Jurjus & Ties Mellema
13 hrs Maripepa Contreras & Friends
14 hrs Gerard Bouwhuis solo
15 hrs Trombone meets Gipsy with Brandt Attema en Vasile Nedea
16 hrs Oene van Geel & Chaerin Im
Host: Brandt Attema

The Splendor Rariteitenkabinet, Cabinet of Curiosities is a museum, memory palace and colorful collection of abandoned objects, versatile art, special audio and video fragments, discarded set lists, pieces of decor and costumes left behind, sketches of compositions and lyrics, vivid memories, found objects and much more from the exceptionally rich collection of Splendor history. In every nook and cranny of the building you will find QR codes full of stories and music about striking and less eye-catching details in the building.

At 20:00 hrs there will be the festive conclusion of our jubilee weekend with a jam led by Marc Alberto and Marnix Dorrestein. Expect groovy improvisation, musical interventions and audience participation with a wide range of Splendor musicians. You can dance, listen and drink. To quote Little Richard: let it all hang out!
