Barry Green & Michael Moore

"Green’s work can be both intricate and assertive and is constantly inventive” - Jazz UK.

Barry’s record label is Moletone Records. The trio album “The Music of Chance”, featuring Jeff Williams and Ben Street, was released as the first release. It received glowing reviews.
Then came “Turn Left At Monday”, a duo album with Dave Green, the legendary bass player. Rare songs by Alec Wilder, Ornette Coleman. Dave may be the only musician to have performed alongside Coleman Hawkins and Roland Kirk, Evan Parker or Tony Oxley. Barry and Dave performed at festivals and clubs all across the UK, often with special guests Henry Lowther.
Barry’s third Moletone record release is “Babelfish”, which you can listen to in your ear. This project is a record of a nearly 13-year relationship between Brigitte Beraha and Chris Laurence, with Paul Clarvis.
Barry recorded two trio albums at Systems Two studios in Brooklyn in January 2014. The first was recorded with Chris Cheek, Gerald Cleaver and Drew Gress. The second is called “Almost There” and features Tom Rainey.
