Pour la Postérité - Igor Stravinsky & Pablo Picasso, a unique unieke synergy
Pour la Postérité links two disciplines, music and visual arts, through the close bond between two artistic giants of the last century: Igor Stravinsky and Pablo Picasso. The collaboration of the two friends, in a circle that also included Manuel de Falla and Eric Satie, represents a unique synergy between their respective disciplines.
Pour la postérité is conceptually developed and performed by the five members of the Dianto Reed Quintet. For the video animation and scenography, we collaborate with Yannick Verweij and Joske Commandeur. The final direction is in the hands of Yorick Stam. The arrangements will be newly written by Arjan Linker and Max Knigge and the composer of the commission piece is Julian Schneemann.
