Babar en het ontstaan van de wereld (6+)
Babar and the creation of the world: a family concert (6+) with live music, animations and narratorA brand new, African story by the famous children's book author Mylo Freeman about the creation of the world. With planets and animals playing the leading role, and little Babar experiencing his unforgettable adventures!
The famous elephant Babar from Jean de Brunhoffs illustrated books conquered children's hearts all over the world. Composer Francis Poulenc wrote beautiful music for it: l'Histoire de Babar. Combined with the jazzy sounds of La création du monde by Darius Milhaud and new African intermezzos by Richard Rijnvos, a magical world is created in which all senses are addressed.
Ensemble SeaSession, together with narrator Jennifer Muntslag and visual artist Sjeng Schupp, perform a sparkling new version of this story. Watch and listen to how the earth is created and how Babar comes to life in this family concert!
