The Rietveld Ensemble presents this evening a sampler of chamber music by Latin American immigrants in the United States, featuring works by, among others, Mario Davidovsky (born in Argentina), Paul Desenne (born in Venezuela), Orlando Jacinto Garcia (born in Cuba), Tania León (born in Cuba), Reinaldo Moya (born in Venezuela), Osvaldo Golijov (born in Argentina), and Roberto Sierra (born in Puerto Rico). The program was curated by Joel Sachs from New York.
The Rietveld Ensemble is a chamber music group of top musicians with an international background, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Its members are leading soloists, conservatory professors, and musicians from major Dutch orchestras.
