This concert will take place at the Uilenburgersjoel - Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat 91
The Ruysdael Quartet presents a program of masterpieces. We will start with '...miserere...' by the preeminent Dutch composer Louis Andriessen, continue with Schubert's primal life/death struggle with 'Death and the Maiden' and finally end with John Cage's unexpectedly beautiful and uplifting 'String Quartet in Four Parts'. Thus a miniature musical reflection of our current global situation!
