Sneakpreview new album ‘in’

Saxophonist Mete Erker and pianist Jeroen van Vliet will record a new album in the Bimhuis on June 14th. Running up to this recording they are playing a series of 10 tryout concerts in different locations in The Netherlands. Brand new music, straight from the composition desk and fish from the pen. The album is due to be released early 2022. The music is poetic, imaginative, sometimes wry but never dark. Beauty prevails, as the contrasts are hidden in the middle voices.
