Nuala McKenna presents her debut album of works for cello solo from the 20th century.

Nuala McKenna has developed a deep love for the solo repertoire for cello, which taught her a lot about herself. This Diapason D'Or award-winning debut album is a culmination of the process of connecting to that music. For this album she has chosen three works that share one great characteristic: expression to the limit! The concert program will consist of extracts from the CD among which pieces by by Zoltan Kodály, Benjamin Britten and György Ligeti and some movements from Suites by J.S. Bach.
