With his voice and lute, Jonatan Alvarado brings century-old music to life from Europe to his country of birth Argentinia. In his beautifully soothing and disarming way, Jonatan will make this music feel anything but 'old'.
Marnix Dorrestein seems to know no boundaries at all, moving effortlessly between his own pop bands, subtle reimaginings of 17th-century songs, and an impressive list of unexpected and spontaneous collaborations within (and of course outside of) the Splendor pool.
Jan-Willem Baljet moves equally effortlessly between the oldes and newest operas and the music from the 20s, 30s and 40s with his playful ensemble Frommermann. Just like a singer spanning five octaves, these three singers/string players span a wildly large range of music from the past centuries.
