William Vyvyan Murray is one of a new generation of composer-performers expanding the realms of classical music making. A graduate of the famous musical madhouses of Paris, Berlin, Cremona and Amsterdam he has been invited to perform in venues like the Berlin Philharmonic, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and Salle Playel in Paris with groups like the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Reflektor, Brandenburg Staatsorchester and Berlin Kammerorchester.

Charlotte Basalo Vazquez is a versatile violinist who wants to connect with the audience and her fellow players through music. After completing her studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory, she plays in various orchestras in the Netherlands, such as the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Pynarello. She has many years of chamber music experience as principal of the Dostoyevsky Quartet, with whom she has performed at many chamber music festivals in the Netherlands and abroad, in halls such as the Concertgebouw, the Doelen and Tivoli Vredenburg. She also has a lot of joy in free improvisation, such as during the Splendor festival in the Waalse Kerk.

William and Charlotte met while studying at the Sweelinck Conservatory and look forward to improvising together on stage at Splendor and presenting a program that ranges from the Francesca Caccini's stunning 16th Century work to new pieces written in the last months by Oene, William and Charlotte!
