Brand new Dutch jazz songs by Mirjam van Dam and Lex Jasper — live and on CD!

Vocalist Mirjam van Dam and pianist Lex Jasper first met in March 2023, performing with the Lex Jasper Quartet in Zuidlaren, to much acclaim. At Lex’s request, Mirjam performed one song in Dutch. This gave them the idea to start writing some new Dutch-language jazzy repertoire together. Over the next few months, the wrote about 80 songs together; Lex came up with the music, Mirjam wrote the lyrics. Last February they recorded a number of those songs, and now they present them on CD, for you to enjoy!
