Dostoyevsky Cities: Amsterdam

An evening of Anglophone poetry

Dostoyevsky Cities is an international book series by Dostoyevsky Wannabe, a literary publisher based in Manchester. For the Amsterdam edition of this series, editor Nadia de Vries has invited some of the most exciting Anglophone poets from Amsterdam (and beyond) to share their work.

On this evening, Splendor is generously hosting the launch of the resulting anthology Dostoyevsky Cities: Amsterdam, which will be celebrated with performances by the contributing poets.

This evening serves as an English-language pre-event to the Dutch National Book Week (Boekenweek 2020), which runs from 7 to 15 March. By focusing on local authors who write in English, the project aims to make the Book Week more inclusive to literature lovers who cannot read Dutch. All are welcome!
