Works by composers written for their children

In 2021 composer Daan Manneke created a collection of piano works photos of his granddaughter Laurie. These photos were made by Thomas Manneke, Daan’s son and the father of Laurie, and commissioned by the French haute couture magazine SSAW. The bundle of piano works is named Promenade, statues et la fille.

Next to these compositions by Daan Manneke Wilbert Bulsink will perform other piano works made for, dedicated to, or inspired by children. Works by Lachenmann, Stockhausen, Poulenc and others.
