Mike Fentross, Dudok Quartet and Maarten Ornstein
After two years, we can finally be together again for the annual national memorial day of the lives lost in the Second World War. After the official commemoration at 8pm, many concerts and performances take place throughout the city, and Splendor has joined this movement since 2018. Tonight the Dudok Quartet, Mike Fentross and Maarten Ornstein play music by Bach, Messiaen, Shostakovich, Marin Marais and Dowland.
The concert is a fundraiser for the placement of Stolpersteine in the Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat, from which many Jews were deported to the extermination camps. You can make a donation before or after the concert.
